So many times newbie gardeners, trying to grow vegetables, are bogged down by the end result. Every so often you hear about “I spent so much time and money to get this 50 cent produce”, but let me tell you it gets better with planning and experience.
Still there are moments like the one I had last week, I harvested exactly 6-7 pieces of okra, 2 small egg plants, and a lonesome bell pepper …what should I do with these????

I came up with a yummy recipe on the go:
Mixed Vegetable Kozambu or Pulusu :
2 cups of chopped veggies
2 tbsp of oil
1 tsp of mustard seeds
1 tsp of turmeric powder
3-4 slit green chillies
curry leaves – a handful if you prefer
Asafoetida – a pinch
2tsp Jaggery powder or sugar
1 tsp of rice flour to thicken
A small lime sized ball of tamarind soaked in water (tamarind will be squeezed out and the water will be used in the recipe)
OR tamarind pulp 2 tsp mixed with water
and of course salt as per taste
